Collective Thought Media was hired on May 27th to shoot the aerial video of the Viking ship “Draken” leaving it’s last American port of call.
Working alongside the on-board video team, CTM captured 4k aerial video footage of the Viking ship Draken being hoisted onto it’s transport vessel for it’s journey home to Norway.
“Expedition America” was Draken’s East Coast Tour, and began in 2018. It began July 9 with Draken leaving Mystic Seaport, CT, to head for the ship’s first stopover. During the tour Draken visited 14 harbors across the East Coast of the U.S. spanning from Maine to South Carolina.
IDraken stayed in Newport Bowen´s Wharf, when it was loaded onboard the Dutch cargo ship Stadiongracht, anchored just outside Newport Harbor.
