Absorbent Specialty Products worked with Collective Thought Media to develop a comprehensive video marketing library for their Quick Dam line of products. Starting with five days of video production in early 2023, Collective Thought Media completed over 45 individual product and brand overview videos for the Quick Dam line over a twelve month period.

Collective Thought Media worked closely with the Quick Dam marketing team to create video content that would explain the benefits of their products in both B2C and B2B sales situations.  

Project Highlights

Five Day Location Shoot + On-going Shoot Days

This project included five full days of initial location shooting with a two person team using a variety of equipment. Filming included table-top miniature setups, product demonstration videos including a house facade with water container for demonstration of water-protection products.      

Connecting Products to Customers

Collective Thought Media worked closely with ASP marketing staff to organize their product lines and develop a clear strategy to demonstrate the value of their products to potential customers. Video assets were broken up by Indoor/Outdoor product lines, as well as brand overviews that tell the bigger story of Quick Dam.  

Editing & Post-Production

Collective Thought Media completed all editing and post-production for the deliverables, completing over 45 videos for Quick Dam since they started working together. Deliverables include multiple brand overviews for both residential / home use and commercial / business use for both their Indoor and Outdoor product lines, individual product videos, How To and Tip videos and internal training content.

Creative Asset Review & Update
Before planning a video marketing campaign, all of your creative assets should be reviewed for aesthetic and technical considerations including: logo design & reproduction quality; brand color pallet for print, web and video use; and that any illustrations, marks and other supporting brand artwork are of the highest quality.
Video Campaign Planning
With all of your creative assets reviewed and up to date, we can begin the planning phase of your video campaign. Our campaigns are focused on three main points: first identifying your key target audience and conversion goals, second to generating memorable and engaging creative direction and scripting, and third is selecting which media channels we’ll use to reach your audience.
On-Site & Studio Video Production
Collective Thought Media offers complete on-site & studio video production for a variety of clients and environments. Our team includes a variety of professionals including camera operators, location sound technicians, lighting and grip crew. Our expertise in creating efficient lighting setups allows us to quickly and proficiently capture interview and B-Roll footage. Post-Production, Voice Over & Sound Mixing
Once all of your location and studio video and audio content is recorded, we can begin the post-production phase. This includes such tasks as ingesting and backing up the raw video footage, pulling out the usable content into a sequence of good shots, sourcing stock audio for sound FX and score, recording any necessary voice-over narration or dialogue replacement, generating a cut including titles, motion graphics, musical score and basic color correction. All video assets can be shared with the client remotely using a variety of digital tools and services to streamline footage review and client revisions to edited content.
Campaign Analytics & Review
Both during and after the distribution of your video assets, weekly and monthly reports can be generated showing a variety of information including conversion goals, impressions and traffic generated from your campaign. Additionally, at the conclusion of your campaign a comprehensive review should be completed that details the objectives acheived.
